About the Witney Partnership of Schools

Witney is part of a diverse rural area in West Oxfordshire. It is an expanding town with a population of just over 28,000, although 90,000 people from outlying areas use the facilities of the town on a weekly basis. The area has a rich historical and cultural heritage, being famous for Witney blankets. Many houses can be seen built of the characteristic Cotswold stone.

Witney Schools Partnership is one of the largest School Partnerships in Oxfordshire, consisting of 17 schools. These are made up of two secondary schools, 10 primary schools within Witney Town to include a Special School, and 5 primary schools in adjacent rural areas.
