The provision of childcare in the community is part of a government strategy to provide support for working parents, either offering provision for childcare both during termtime and holiday periods for those parents who want it. Oxon FIS, Oxfordshire Family Information Service provide information for parents about childcare, through private and state nursery and pre-school provision, voluntary groups, childminders or schools. Oxon FIS can also provide information on paying for childcare.”
